Admissions
Starting is simpler than the fear makes it feel.
Reaching out is the hardest step, and you have all but taken it. From here the path is short and clear: one call, a confidential conversation, and a place ready for you. No forms to wrestle with first, no judgement, no pressure to decide everything today.
How to begin
Three steps, at your pace. You can stop after the first call and simply think — there is no commitment in reaching out.
Call us
Speak with someone who understands. Tell us as much or as little as you like — whether you are calling for yourself or for someone you love. We will listen first, then talk through the options together.
Confidential, and never any pressure.
A confidential assessment
Next, a private conversation with our clinical team — covering health, wellbeing, and circumstances — to recommend the right level of care. It is a discussion, not a test: there are no wrong answers, and nothing is decided without you.
Honest guidance, even if we are not the right fit for you.
Arrive and begin
When you are ready, we agree a start date and welcome you in. Your rights and the consent you are giving are explained clearly before treatment begins, and you are oriented to the centre — so arriving feels less like a leap and more like being expected.
We handle the practical details so you can focus on getting well.
What to expect in the first days
The unknown is its own kind of fear. Here is what the beginning actually looks like, so it feels less like stepping into the dark.
A calm welcome
You are met by a person, not a process — shown around, settled in, and given time to find your feet before anything else begins.
A thorough, gentle assessment
Our clinical team takes time to understand your health and your story — medical, psychological, and social — so the care that follows is shaped around you.
Your rights, in writing
Before treatment begins, informed consent and your rights as a client — privacy, participation in your own plan, a fair complaints process — are explained clearly.
Support close at hand
You live alongside a team whose whole job is your wellbeing. The first nights can be the hardest, and you will not be left to face them alone.
Costs & cover
Worrying about cost should never be the reason someone does not get help. Here is how care can be paid for in Kenya — and we will help you work out what applies to you.
Fees depend on the level and length of care, and they change over time, so we do not publish a fixed price list that could mislead. What we can promise is a clear, itemised estimate before anything begins — no surprises, no hidden charges.
Call us for current fees and a cost estimate for your situation. We will also help you check what your insurance or scheme covers, so you know where you stand before you commit.
Cover and scheme details change. We confirm what currently applies to you before any commitment — please call for the latest.
SHA (Social Health Authority)
SHA is the national scheme that replaced NHIF. Where rehabilitation and mental-health benefits apply, we will help you understand and use your entitlement — and if you still hold old NHIF paperwork, we help you confirm what carries into SHA. Cover details are still settling nationally, so we confirm what currently applies with you directly.
Private & employer cover
Private medical insurance and many employer schemes include addiction or mental-health treatment. We can liaise with your provider to verify benefits and handle pre-authorisation where it is needed.
Self-pay & payment plans
Paying directly is straightforward, with a clear estimate up front. Where cost is a barrier, talk to us — we will discuss instalment options and do what we can to find a workable way forward.
Questions families ask
The things people most often want to know before they call. If your question is not here, call us and ask it directly — privately, with no obligation.
Ready to talk it through?
You do not need a plan, the right words, or a decision made. One honest conversation is enough to begin. Call us and a real person will listen — privately, patiently, and without pressure.
